A practical 3-week, 15-hour online course about teaching GESE Advanced (Grades 10-12, C1.1-C2) online.

Participants will have the opportunity to learn about how to facilitate effective online learning for advanced level learners.

As a participant you will become familiar with:

-  the theory and practice of online language teaching
-  how to plan effective online lessons for advanced level learners
-  how to help learners prepare for the topic phase of the exam in an online environment
-  how to help learners prepare for the interactive phase of the exam in an online environment
-  how to help learners prepare for the listening phase in an online environment
-  how to engage advanced level learners in synchronous and asynchronous environments
-  how to adapt face-to-face classes for the online environment

    Quest for Best: Trinity Stars and Teaching Young Learners Ed 1

    A 15 hour, online course over three weeks and four weekends which encourages the teaching and learning of English language through drama, music and performance.  It is a group award, designed for children aged anywhere between 3 and 12 years old who are starting to learn English.

    Preparing children for the award shows how performance-related activity supports learning, motivates children and builds their confidence and communication skills. Trinity Stars has been designed to support both learning in the classroom and teachers’ professional development. The main aims are:

    • For teachers to reflect on and acquire new teaching strategies when teaching young learners
    • to become familiar with the Trinity Stars Young Performers in English Performance award and to start preparing a Trinity Stars performance 
    • to become familiar with theories and teaching strategies to improve their learners´ skills and to plan and design activities they can use in the classroom 
    • to share teaching experiences and to raise their awareness of how integrating language and performance goals can improve language learning.
