Trinity Webinar Series - Transformative teachers

by James Easton - Number of replies: 0

The Trinity Teacher Training Webinar Series is designed for teachers preparing students for four-skills English tests, and contain specific reference to Trinity’s Integrated Skills in English (ISE) exam.

This training aims to provide teachers with a deeper understanding of how students learn English reading, writing, speaking and listening skills and looks at practical ways teachers can help students to improve.

Whilst the webinars refer to Trinity exams, this series also support teachers’ continuous professional development (CPD) and can help improve everyday teaching practices for integrating and teaching all four skills.

Here is an opportunity to see recordings of the first two webinars if you were unable to attend.

In the first webinar, (28/02/2018), the Lead Academic for Language Europe, Alex Thorp, interviewed the Academic Consultant, Spain, Robin Walker. Robin wrote and produced the video series that runs through the webinars, and the conversation centred around how to get the most from the webinar series and covered a range of global issues related to teaching the four skills. The role of grammar, working with large classes and points around implementing a communicative approach to teacher were discussed.
