A 3 week, 15 hour, free online course to encourage participants to reflect on their attitude and beliefs about how vocabulary is learnt and how it can be taught. Participants will look at different ways that vocabulary may be presented, practised and put to use, and will be provided with tools to prepare their own vocabulary learning activities and share teaching materials. The course includes challenging and inspiring resources; tasks to encourage a reflective approach; activity-based learning where participants also create classroom resources; and discussion forums for participants to share their views and learn from colleagues. Much of the course can be done at one's own pace, although there are some group activities that are best done within the same time frame. NB - this course is more appropriate for secondary school teachers and above).
