The Trinity Teacher Training Webinar Series is designed for teachers preparing students for four-skills English tests and contain specific reference to Trinity’s Integrated Skills in English (ISE) exam. 

This training aims to provide teachers with a deeper understanding of how students learn English reading, writing, speaking and listening skills and looks at practical ways teachers can help students to improve.

Whilst the webinars refer to Trinity exams, this series also support teachers’ continuous professional development (CPD) and can help improve everyday teaching practices for integrating and teaching all four skills.

In the fourth webinar, Trinity's Head of Test Production, Anthea Wilson, is interviewed by Lead Academic for Language, Alex Thorp. Alex and Anthea discuss the processes involved in reading, with particular focus on skimming. In the fifth webinar, Trinity Academic Support Coordinator (Spain and Portugal), Violeta Stefanovska, is interviewed by University Recognition Manager, Jonathan Frank.  Violeta and Jonathan discuss the processes involved in reading, with particular focus on scanning.  During the discussion, they expand upon how we, and our learners, use scanning in everyday life, education and employment, talk about practical ideas for the classroom.
